MASTER

Since early times, we have called those beings "Masters" who are able to use their own potential fully. That's why the world of the Masters is a world of perfect wisdom, virtue, and eternal beauty as compared to our world. To become a Master in this sense is within the reach of all of us. The people in so-called "paradise" use a great part of this power. It is through this power that they are even able to turn their environment into paradise. The more they use this power, the higher the level of the paradise.

.....

A self-realized soul emits a kind of Godly fragrance and supra-mundane Virtue that everyone loves to be near, and everyone feels naturally comfortable with.

.....

The various manifested forms of the Buddha, the Bodhisattvas, the Goddess of Mercy, Maria, Jesus, etc. are all from one Power. They are ever changing in order to suit the tastes of sentient beings. They speak different languages in order to liberate sentient beings in various corners of the Earth.

.....

Fortunate are those who meet the Master who is still living, but who also is the inner Master at the same time.

.....

The whole portion of love is housed inside the body of the Master. That is how all miracles are made, because the law of love surpasses all other laws, including the law of karma. Therefore the Master can free everyone that believes in Him, open all heavens, destroy all hells.

.....

The Master is your own original nature, not the physical body of another person. Your practice is not good enough, so you don't understand; you think that Master is another person, or that Master scolds you because She is angry. Not so! It is you scolding yourself; it is your karma emerging, and you cleansing yourself. Therefore, everything is created by the mind!

.....

No one could leave a living Buddha forever without missing Him, no matter how that Buddha scolded him, because he knows this is the true love.

.....

Remembering the Master means remembering the teaching, the goodness of the Master, the love from the Master, and then deepening ourselves with this love, this wisdom, this goodness, and then sharing it with whomever necessary. That is remembering the Master.

.....

The body of the Master exits for two reasons. First, for the disciples of the physical world to be able to see, as they couldn't see the light body of the Master. Second, the body for the Master is for sacrifice.

.....

Anyone who is not able to impart you immediate light or sound is not a real master.

.....

Prayers begin after you have met a master, because the master awakens in you the prayer power -- the power to pray, the power to think, the power to use your own energy to make things come true.

.....

Instead of only worshipping the enlightened Master everyday, we should become enlightened Masters ourselves.

.....

Only when we have rid ourselves of our preconceived ideas are we able to meet the enlightened Master.

.....

Most Masters can ignore us. If you want, you follow him; if not, he is not bothered either. He won't lose anything. He knows that sentient beings are difficult to teach. Why should he trouble himself?

He will not chase after us, we should chase after him! Sometimes we can't catch up with him. He just lets it be, he doesn't care. He leaves the opportunity for the later people, or lets us get fed up ourselves -- life after life, after one thousand, two thousand or twenty thousand years, then we ourselves begin to seek, to climb up.

So He does not worry, does not care. Neither will he bother to interfere with us, as we won't gain merit doing this, because we are in the maze. What does it have to do with him whether we have merit or not in a maze?

It is not that the Masters are arrogant, but simply that their thinking is different from ours. He is a very free person. He is at ease. How can we bind him? How can we make him beg us all the time. We are the prisoners ourselves! We should beg the person outside to save us. How can he beg us to ask him to save us? Life and death are our business, he is liberated already!

.....

Actually it's like that. Many people have no attraction before, then suddenly after initiation and meditate for sometime, they begin to attract people. You know, not necessarily physically, just attract them. They just love them and they just want to be near them. It is because of your vibration, your loving God energy. You cannot conceal it. It just radiates out and then attracts people like magnet, because the souls in themselves are also Godlike. So they just feel attracted to you, the same that people are attracted to the masters, but that is by no means a crutch. It is just a self attracted to a higher self. So after sometimes they just realize that both of them are one. Therefore, who is there to get the crutch? Who is there to rely on whom? So actually that is also the answer to that question about master and religion are crutch. It depends. Okay? So, have lunch!

.....

An enlightened Master only gives and never takes. Once you have received things from others, you become subordinate to them. Is it not true that upon meeting him next time, you will be too self-conscious to handle things properly? When he demands you to do something, you cannot really treat him fairly. You know he is wrong, but you are too self-conscious to scold or refuse him. Therefore, our internal Code of Ethics guides us against corruption for these reasons. Do not sell ourselves for anything, and do not owe any favors or money to people. Once you are indebted to them for anything, you owe them a favor. Having eaten any food offered by others, you cannot hold your head high anymore.

.....

There was a man who saw that his Master did not have any sleep for days. He also observed that other masters were more or less the same; and even if they slept, it wouldn't be for too long. It is because true masters have become one with the inner awareness. They are connected to it, so they don't have to sleep.

Sometimes I was very busy with my work and did not notice that my attendant was very tired. He kept nodding, and I didn't realize it. Then he asked for a leave, in order to have a retreat; and I didn't know why. He was with me for only a few days and he wanted to have a retreat, because he couldn't take it anymore! I didn't understand.

Now I know, after having read this book. From now on, if you want to have a retreat and have some sleep, you can remind me. The true Masters can work from within for twenty-four hours a day. No problem! Three or four hours of sleep is enough for them. If the situation requires, they can also go without any sleep.

The most significant difference between the Buddha and the devil is -- the Buddha is always giving, while the devil is always taking. It is the quality of the devil to occupy the time and space of other people.
