JESUS CHRIST

Jesus was a man, but Christ is a power. That power can be transmitted any time, any place, through anyone who is qualified. Just like electricity, it can go through any wire, if the wire is in good condition and there is a plug. You see, Jesus Christ is the Buddha, and Buddha means Christ. Christ is a Hebrew word for Buddha, and Buddha is a Sanskrit word for Christ. How about that! People never translated these terms in their own languages, they just used the original language and fought over it. There is always trouble because of the incompetence of the human language.

.....

Most human beings think that they cannot follow Christ's example, simply because they were told that they are too ignorant, too stupid, too helpless, that they are nothing. And because this brainwashing was perpetuated generation after generation, they ended up by believing it.

'He that believeth on me, the work that I do shall he do also.'

Jesus didn't say that He was the only one that could accomplish all these miracles, to teach and to liberate people. He said that we can do the same and He even added:

'..and greater works than these shall he do.'

So if Jesus said: "Whatever I can do today you can do also", then why don't we start? We all want to become so great but we couldn't. Why? Because we are lacking power, knowledge and wisdom. It is just like a surgeon who has learned to operate on a complicated human inner system. If we learn with him for some time then we will become an expert like him. We can become as great as Christ if we learn what He has learned. That is very logical and scientific. There is nothing mysterious about becoming a Buddha or Christ-like. There is no need to go to the Himalayas, no need to shave your head, or wear different clothes. You can become enlightened in jeans! It is just a matter of different lifestyles.

But we forgot all about it. We believe what the Church, what the priests tell us, that we are sinful and without Jesus we will go to Hell! If Jesus were to come back again, He would cry His soul out because His teachings have been distorted and tortured in such a way. He does cry. He is still crying.

We forgot that the Bible says that we were made in the image of God, that we are His children and His heirs. It means that we are like our Father and that we also possess His power. If our father is a king, it makes us princes and princesses and that is something, no? So why not believe in our value, why deny our inheritance, our birthright! We keep repeating, 'We are the children of God and were created in His image,' and we struggle every day to only earn a few pennies, and pray all the time without being answered. It is because we don't pray to the right source, and we knock on the wrong door.

.....

When Jesus was alive He said,

'I am the Way, I am the Light of the world, as long as I am in the world.'

So after He left, He is not the light of the world in a physical sense. So He has left us some teachings which guide us in our daily lives. This is very good. But there is something of a silent nature that we have not gotten. That is the silent teaching, that can only be transmitted through silence. And this is the most important thing that makes us see God and brings us nearer to God. So whomever can help us in this way, you should not feel guilty to come to Him.

.....

Two thousand years ago, a great being was born among us. He is so great that we have no words to praise Him. Only God knows His greatness. We mortals cannot understand. We can understand only when we become as great as He is.

Now we often ask ourselves, "Why is it that Jesus had to die so quickly when He had just reached the peak of glory in his mission, that is, to spread the message of God?" If He had not left the earth in such a short time and in such a tragic way, probably, His name would have been forgotten by now. God sacrificed Him in this way so that the whole world would remember, so that we would treasure a messenger of God, by whichever name he came.

Since ancient times, our world has always been in trouble. People always err and forget God. So, God always has to send messengers to remind us. But Jesus was one of the most remembered because of His greatness, and also because of His very short stay with us, and the way He left us and was resurrected. Now we say, "The great Son of God, He had such great power and did so many miracles. Why didn't He change His own destiny? Why did He have to die in such a tragic way?" But He had to do it, otherwise we would not be shocked out of our sleep. We would think the world is forever or the Master is forever.

There were also some other Masters before Jesus, but now people do not remember them as much as we remember Jesus. When we remember Jesus, we remember God, and we derive some blessing because Jesus was the Son of God. In other words, Jesus was God personified on earth. He had to leave us very early. He had his purpose. He wanted to shock us out of our slumber.

Many thousands of years later, we are still shocked, if we remember this story, because of the ephemeral nature of our existence on earth. Even the Son of God had to die! Everyone must go, eventually. If even a man as great as Jesus cannot preserve this ephemeral body and also cannot be protected from the violence and ignorance of the people of this world, how can we feel safe? That is why He submitted Himself to the punishment which He did not deserve. He suffered for the sake of everyone!

If we say Jesus used His blood to wash away our sins, it is not exaggerating. It is the truth, because each time we think of Jesus, we learn something. At least we remember the ephemeral nature of our world and our body, or at least we learn humility, because such a great one had to suffer in such a way. He was so humble that He surrendered Himself to God and said, "Whatever God wills must be done!" Otherwise, He could have escaped. We know that He had a lot of magical power, including the power to be invisible, but He chose to obey God's arrangement. So when we think of Him, we can say, "Who are we to be proud, to forget God's will and not to surrender?" But these lessons are hard to learn. If all people can learn these lessons well, then Jesus' sacrifice was worthwhile and we are worthy to be His followers and worshippers.
